Bank Erosion, Drought in Kandal

The Mekong Delta project team on 24 October 2017 visited the Bassac River to see bank erosion in Chrey Thom, which serves as the border between Cambodia and Viet Nam. This is part of bilateral efforts at the provincial level to build better water cooperation to improve the livelihoods of riverine communities. The field trip is part of the Mekong Delta transboundary water resources management project under the MRC’s Integrated Water Resources Management Project.
